West Woodstock Bridge

The West Woodstock Bridge, built in 1900, is a historic steel bridge located in West Woodstock, Vermont, spanning the Ottauquechee River. Recognized as the oldest documented Pennsylvania through truss bridge in the state, it features a unique design with modest Victorian styling and is constructed with pin-connected elements. The bridge is 174 feet long and 16.3 feet wide, accommodating two lanes of traffic. It was fabricated by the Groton Manufacturing Company and is notable for its historical significance, having been listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. Visitors can appreciate its architectural features and the scenic views of the surrounding area.
