Kellum-Noble House (Sam Houston Park)

The Kellum-Noble House, located within Sam Houston Park, is one of Houston's oldest surviving structures, originally constructed in 1847–48. The small Federal-style brick house was later moved to Sam Houston Park to be preserved alongside a cluster of other historic homes and vocational buildings. The group of relocated historic structures sits in a downtown park setting and can be overlooked by visitors focused on nearby downtown attractions. Sam Houston Park houses the city's heritage collection and operates as an open-air museum of early Houston architecture.
