Holy Trinity Church, Helsinki

The Holy Trinity Church is the oldest Orthodox church in Helsinki, Finland, located in the historic Kruununhaka district. Built in 1826 in a neo-classical style by architect Carl Ludvig Engel, it serves the city's Orthodox community with services in both Church Slavic and Finnish. The church was established to accommodate the growing number of Russian civil servants and soldiers following Finland's autonomy in 1808. Today, it remains a vibrant place of worship for many, with a significant portion of its congregation being immigrants from the Soviet Union.
