Palácio da Liberdade

The Palácio da Liberdade, inaugurated in 1898, is a historic building located in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Once the office of the Minas Gerais state government, it reflects the architectural style of its era. In the 1950s, it transitioned as Governor Juscelino Kubitschek began constructing his new residence, the Palácio das Mangabeiras. Today, it is part of the Circuito Cultural da Praça da Liberdade and hosts solemn ceremonies for mandate transfers, making it a significant cultural and historical site for visitors.
