Palais de Glace

The Palais de Glace is a stunning Belle Époque building located in the Recoleta neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Inaugurated in 1911, it originally served as an ice skating rink and social club, designed with a central circular rink surrounded by elegant boxes for spectators. As ice skating waned in popularity, the venue transformed into a prominent dance hall that played a crucial role in the rise of tango, hosting many famous orchestras and dancers.
