Prudential Tower Skywalk Observatory (historical)

The Skywalk Observatory atop the Prudential Tower offered a 360-degree public observation experience of Boston’s skyline, Back Bay, and the Charles River from the tower for decades. The Skywalk operated as a public attraction from the 1960s until it closed permanently in 2020; while open it included exhibits and multiple lookout points. Its closure removed one of the long-standing high-rise public viewpoints in the Back Bay area.
