The Mint Museum Randolph (original Mint Museum building)

The Mint Museum Randolph at this site originally opened in 1936 as the first home of the Mint Museum and represents one of North Carolina's earliest civic art museum buildings. The Randolph location houses decorative arts and craft collections and illustrates mid-20th-century museum development in Charlotte. It served as the museum's primary location until the Mint Museum Uptown opened.
