Anson Mills Building

The Anson Mills Building, located at 303 North Oregon Street in El Paso, Texas, is a historic landmark built between 1910 and 1911. Designed by renowned architect Henry C. Trost, it was the second concrete-frame skyscraper in the United States and the tallest building in El Paso at the time, standing at 145 feet. The building features a distinctive curved facade and showcases architectural elements reminiscent of the Chicago School. It was recognized as a Texas Historic Civil Engineering Landmark in 1981, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in early 20th-century architecture and engineering.
