Malachowsky Hall for Data Science & Information Technology

Malachowsky Hall, located on the University of Florida campus in Gainesville, opened in November 2023 and serves as a cutting-edge facility for data science, information technology, and artificial intelligence. Named after UF alumnus and Nvidia co-founder Chris Malachowsky, the building features a unique metal-paneled design and spans 263,440 square feet. It houses various departments, including engineering, pharmacy, and medicine, and is part of a broader initiative to enhance STEM education and research. The hall is positioned as a multidisciplinary hub, supporting innovative projects like the Florida Semiconductor Institute and the OneFlorida Clinical Research Consortium.
