Boland's Mills

Boland's Mills is a historic mixed-use development located in Dublin, Ireland, on Ringsend Road. Originally a bakery and flour mill, the site features 19th-century warehouses and played a significant role during the 1916 Easter Rising as a headquarters for Irish Volunteers. After ceasing operations in 2001, it underwent a major redevelopment initiated by the National Asset Management Agency, which included a €150 million investment to create residential, commercial, and civic spaces. In 2018, Google acquired the site, transforming it into a hub with 300,000 square feet of office space, 46 residential units for key workers, and various commercial units such as a bar, bakery, and food hall, set to open between late 2024 and early 2025. The development blends historical significance with modern urban living, making it an interesting destination for tourists and researchers alike.
