Maison de la Radio et de la Musique, located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris near the Eiffel Tower, serves as the headquarters for Radio France. This unique circular building, completed in 1963 and designed by architect Henry Bernard, houses broadcasting studios, administrative offices, and performance spaces for various national ensembles. Following a significant renovation that began in 2005, it reopened to the public in 2014, featuring the Grand Auditorium with a seating capacity of 1,462 and a stunning organ with over 5,300 pipes. The venue is not only a hub for classical music but also hosts contemporary performances, making it a vibrant cultural landmark in Paris.
