Rodin Museum - Jules Mastbaum's collection of Auguste Rodin

The Rodin Museum on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway houses one of the largest collections of Auguste Rodin's sculptures outside Paris, including castings of The Thinker and The Kiss. The collection was assembled and donated to the city by Philadelphia theater owner Jules Mastbaum and the museum opened in 1929. The museum's galleries and surrounding gardens interpret Rodin's work and influence on modern sculpture.
