The Arcade Building is a striking ten-storey office structure located in downtown Toronto, Ontario, known for its vibrant LED-lit facade since 2008. Originally opened in 1960, it occupies a prime spot at 137 Yonge Street, extending to 74 Victoria Street. The building replaced the historic 1884 Yonge Street Arcade, Canada's first indoor shopping mall, which was demolished in 1954. The ground floor has transitioned from an arcade-style retail concourse to a modern GoodLife Fitness centre, while the upper floors serve as commercial office space. With its steel and glass internationalist design, the Arcade Building stands as a notable landmark in the city, blending contemporary use with a rich historical background.
