ICA waterfront plaza and cantilevered view

The Institute of Contemporary Art's waterfront building in the Seaport includes a cantilevered, glass-fronted gallery and an adjacent public plaza and boardwalk that project over Boston Harbor. The current ICA building, designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro, provides unobstructed views of the harbor, the Seaport district, and the downtown skyline from its outdoor areas. The plaza and waterfront walkway are publicly accessible and frequently used as vantage points for harbor and skyline viewing.
