Hendrickson House

Hendrickson House is one of the oldest surviving Swedish-American homes in the United States, originally built in the early 18th century in Chester, Pennsylvania. It served as the residence of Swedish farmer Andrew Hendrickson and his wife Brigitta Morton, both of whom hailed from the New Sweden colony. In 1958, the house was relocated to Wilmington, Delaware, where it is now part of the Old Swedes Historic Site, which also features the historic Holy Trinity Church and burial ground, making it a significant destination for tourists and researchers interested in early American history and Swedish heritage.
