Shandy Hall is a historic homestead museum in Harpersfield, Ohio, established in 1815 by Col. Robert Harper, a key figure in the area's early settlement. Recognized as the oldest frame residence in the region, this 18-room mansion showcases original antique furnishings and offers a glimpse into frontier life. Named after a beloved book by Robert Harper's daughter, Ann, the museum houses her copy of 'Tristram Shandy.' While it does not have regular visiting hours, tours can be arranged by appointment, making it a unique destination for history enthusiasts and researchers.
