Silkstone Hall

Silkstone Hall is a historic building located in Hinderwell, North Yorkshire, England, originally constructed in 1902 for artist Henry Silkstone Hopwood. Designed by architect Edgar Wood in the Arts and Crafts style, the house features distinctive sandstone construction, pantile roofs, and asymmetric fronts. Notable architectural elements include mullioned and bay windows, as well as Art Nouveau wrought iron gates. After serving various purposes post-Hopwood's death, the building was recognized for its architectural significance and listed as grade II in 2015.
