Imperial Chambers

The Imperial Chambers is a historic heritage building located at 51-57 Market Street in Fremantle, Western Australia. Completed in 1896 during the gold rush boom, this Federation Free Classical structure features a distinctive decorative parapet and a corner entrance that is flush with the footpath. Designed by architect O.N. Nicholson, who contributed to other notable Fremantle buildings, the Imperial Chambers holds significant historical value and was classified by the National Trust in 1974. It offers a glimpse into the architectural and cultural heritage of the late 19th century in the region.
