Golden Gate Hotel & Casino (historic downtown hotel)

Originally opened in 1906 as the Hotel Nevada, the property that is now the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino is one of Las Vegas's oldest continuously operating hotel-casinos. The property has retained historic character even as downtown Fremont Street has changed around it. It continues to operate as a public casino and lodging property in the Fremont Street area.
