Elkwood (Georgetown, Kentucky)

Elkwood, also known as the Sabret and Nancy Payne Offut House, is a historic stone house in Georgetown, Kentucky, built around 1810. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. The house features architectural modifications from the 1860s and 1870s, including dormers and a central gable. It is linked to John Payne, a prominent early settler and War of 1812 brigadier general.
