McCoy–Shoemaker Farm

McCoy–Shoemaker Farm is a historic home and farm complex located in Peters Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Featuring a main house from the 1820s or 1830s, the property also includes a stone spring house from around 1800, a large stone bank barn, and various outbuildings. The main house is a striking two-story, five-bay, L-shaped brick structure set on a fieldstone foundation. Notably, the stone spring house may have served as a distillery. This site was recognized for its historical significance and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, making it an intriguing destination for tourists and researchers alike.
