Cooper-Alley House

The Cooper-Alley House, also known as the George Alley Residence, is a historic farmhouse located in Noble Township, Shelby County, Indiana. Constructed between 1863 and 1864, this two-story brick home features a blend of Greek Revival and Italianate architectural styles, characterized by its gable roof and sturdy stone foundation. A notable one-story rear addition was added in the late 19th century. Recognized for its historical significance, the house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers interested in American architectural history.
