Emily Morgan Hotel (Medical Arts Building)

The Emily Morgan Hotel occupies the former Medical Arts Building, a Gothic-Revival-inspired high-rise completed in the early 20th century. Its pointed-arch motifs and vertical emphasis adapt Gothic detailing to a commercial skyscraper form. The building sits adjacent to the Alamo and was later converted to a hotel while retaining many exterior historic elements.
