Hamilton County Justice Center

The Hamilton County Justice Center, located at 1000 Sycamore Street in Cincinnati, Ohio, serves as the main jail for Hamilton County and is operated by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. Opened in 1985, the facility features two ten-story brutalist-style towers connected by a skywalk, and it accommodates an average of 1,424 inmates daily, ranking among the largest jails in the U.S. Visitors can view historical artifacts from the former Cincinnati Work House and Hospital. The center has also been a focal point for social movements, notably when a 'thin blue line' flag was briefly displayed in 2020 during national protests.
