Meadow Brook Farm (Westminster, Maryland)

Meadow Brook Farm, also known as the John Roop Farm, is a historic site in Westminster, Maryland, featuring a Victorian farmhouse built around 1805 in the Pennsylvania German style. The complex includes several period outbuildings, such as an 1809 washhouse and smokehouse. The farmhouse underwent significant remodeling in 1868 to reflect contemporary Victorian aesthetics. Recognized for its historical significance, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. However, the site faced vandalism in December 2016, resulting in substantial damage.
