Teal Building

The Teal Building, located at 619 East Pine Street in Seattle's Capitol Hill, is a historic site that has evolved significantly over the years. Originally part of Auto Row, it was acquired in 1994 and became known for housing the popular gay bar R Place from 1996 until 2021. In 2022, the building was sold for $2.5 million and has since hosted various events, including the immersive art experience Seattle: City of the Future in 2023. Following this, the gay club Massive opened in the building, continuing its legacy as a vibrant part of Seattle's nightlife.
