Rocky Steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art

The 1976 film Rocky filmed its famous training-run and climactic run-up on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art; those steps are popularly known as the 'Rocky Steps.' A bronze Rocky statue, created after the film series' popularity, was placed on the museum grounds and has been a frequent photo spot for visitors reenacting the film's finale. Multiple sequels and later films in the Rocky/Creed series have returned to film at the museum and steps. The site is a documented and enduring filming location associated with the Rocky franchise.
