Kürkçü Han

Kürkçü Han, or 'Inn of the Furriers', is a historic caravanserai located in Istanbul, Turkey, completed in 1467. As the oldest surviving caravanserai in the city, it was founded by Mahmud Pasha, the grand vizier of Sultan Mehmet II. Situated in the bustling market district near the Grand Bazaar, it served as a lodging and commercial space for merchants, contributing to the area's development as a trade hub. The han features two large courtyards and a two-story arched gallery, housing numerous shops and offices. Today, it remains an active commercial space, offering visitors a glimpse into Istanbul's rich architectural and trading history.
