Edward J. Schwartz U.S. Courthouse – federal organized crime prosecutions

The Edward J. Schwartz U.S. Courthouse is the primary federal courthouse for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. It has been the venue for federal trials and sentencing of defendants charged in drug-trafficking conspiracies, cartel-related prosecutions, and other organized crime cases pursued by the U.S. Attorney’s Office. The building houses federal courtrooms where Southern California cartel and cross-border smuggling cases have been litigated and adjudicated.
