Scholz Garten

Scholz Garten is a historic German beer garden established in 1866 near the University of Texas campus and is widely cited as one of Austin's oldest continuously operating establishments. The beer garden features a shaded outdoor seating area, live music on occasion, and traditional German fare. It is a recognized social and cultural gathering place for the downtown/UT neighborhood and hosts community and University events.
