Dallas City Hall - mayoral office during the JFK assassination (Earle Cabell)

Earle Cabell was mayor of Dallas at the time of President Kennedy's assassination in November 1963; the mayoral office he held was housed in Dallas municipal buildings now associated with Dallas City Hall. Cabell later resigned as mayor to run for and was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1964. Dallas City Hall continues to serve as the city's municipal headquarters.
