Chase Tower (formerly Valley Center)

Chase Tower, completed in 1972, is the tallest building in Arizona at 40 stories and is a defining element of the Phoenix skyline. Originally built as a major bank headquarters, the tower exemplifies 1970s high-rise commercial architecture in downtown Phoenix. It continues to serve primarily as an office building and is a frequently cited example of late modernist skyscraper design in the city.
