Lunar Sample Laboratory Facility

Johnson Space Center houses NASA's Lunar Sample Laboratory Facility, where Apollo lunar samples and other extraterrestrial materials are curated and stored under controlled environmental conditions. The facility manages preservation, allocation, and research access for Moon samples returned by the Apollo missions. It is operated on the JSC campus by NASA's astromaterials curation program.
