Las Vegas Philharmonic founding and residency at The Smith Center

The Las Vegas Philharmonic was founded in 1998 as the city's principal professional orchestra and expanded access to orchestral music in the region. After The Smith Center for the Performing Arts opened in 2012, the Philharmonic became a regular resident performer at the center's Reynolds Hall. The orchestra's presence helped establish sustained classical and symphonic programming outside casino showroom contexts.
