Hinkle Fieldhouse in Hoosiers

Hinkle Fieldhouse on Butler University's campus was used as a filming location for the 1986 movie Hoosiers; the gymnasium interior appears as one of the basketball arenas in the film. The building's historic court and seating helped create the period basketball atmosphere used in several game scenes. Hinkle Fieldhouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is closely associated with Indiana basketball history.
