Tudor Merchant's House

The Tudor Merchant's House, a 15th-century stone structure in Tenby, Pembrokeshire, is the oldest surviving house in the town. Originally built for a merchant during Tenby's peak as a commercial port, the house features three storeys: a shop on the ground floor, living quarters above, and sleeping areas on the top floor. Notable for its oak beam ceilings and external staircase, the house was designated Grade I listed in 1951. Now a historic house museum, it showcases period furnishings and decorations from the year 1500, offering visitors a glimpse into Tudor life.
