Reebie Storage Warehouse

The Reebie Storage Warehouse, built in 1922 in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood, is a striking example of Egyptian Revival architecture. Designed by architect George Kingsley and sculptor Fritz Albert, the building features ornate terra cotta decorations, including two statues of Ramses II at its entrance. It was established by the Reebie brothers, who sought a unique architectural style inspired by their travels and other Egyptian Revival structures. Recognized for its historical significance, the warehouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 and became a Chicago Landmark in 1999, making it a notable site for tourists and researchers interested in architectural history.
