Jack Creek Guard Station

The Jack Creek Guard Station is a historic ranger patrol cabin located in Medicine Bow National Forest, Wyoming. Constructed between 1933 and 1934 by U.S. Forest Service ranger Evan John Williams, this one-room log cabin showcases traditional architecture with half-dovetailed corners and a charming front porch. Williams, who contributed significantly to the Forest Service, is remembered for his work on multiple ranger stations and trails. The cabin, which features a brick chimney and a cozy interior, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, making it a notable site for tourists and researchers interested in the history of forestry and conservation in the United States.
