Holm House

Holm House, located at Gammeltorv 14 in Copenhagen's Old Town, is a historic building listed as a protected property since 1926. Originally part of a larger estate in the late 17th century, it has a rich history marked by significant events, including the Copenhagen Fires of 1728 and 1795. The building was home to notable figures such as sugar refinery owner Hinrich Ladiges and linguist Vilhelm Thomsen, who was born here in 1842. Architecturally, it features undressed red brick with sandstone detailing and a courtyard surrounded by additional structures. Today, the ground floor houses the Drunken Flamingo cocktail bar, while the second floor is occupied by a PR agency, making it a vibrant part of the city's cultural landscape.
