Idagaard

Idagaard is a historic Danish manor house located just south of Slagelse, completed in 1880. Originally established by businessman Constantin Brun, the estate was named after his daughter, Ida. The property has a rich history, having changed hands multiple times since its inception in the late 18th century, and is known for its Swiss cheese production and modern agricultural practices introduced by Brun. Today, Idagaard is part of the Idagaard Foundation, which manages several estates, and features a charming single-storey white-plastered building with a distinctive red-tiled roof. Visitors can explore its architectural beauty and learn about its historical significance in Danish agriculture and estate management.
