Villa Finale: The Museum of the American Home

Villa Finale is a house museum and National Trust Preservation Site that interprets the life and collection of preservationist Walter Nold Mathis. The late-19th-century Victorian residence was restored by Mathis in the 20th century and opened to the public as a museum showcasing historic interiors and decorative arts. Villa Finale also serves as an example of private preservation efforts that contributed to the rehabilitation of the King William Historic District.
