Rudolph H. Sitz Building

The Rudolph H. Sitz Building, located in the West End of Davenport, Iowa, is a historic structure built in 1913 originally to serve as a grocery store. Now transformed into a tavern, this two-story building showcases the unique Mission Revival architectural style, featuring distinctive elements such as a curved, broken pediment and bracketed eaves. As one of the few examples of this style in Davenport, it was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, making it an interesting stop for tourists and researchers alike.
