Louis Armstrong House Museum

The Louis Armstrong House Museum preserves the Corona, Queens home where jazz musician Louis Armstrong and his wife Lucille lived from 1943 until his death in 1971 and interprets his life and career. The site contains the couple's original furnishings, Armstrong's archives and recordings, and offers guided tours, concerts, and educational programs focused on jazz history. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and operates as a museum and research archive.
