Bartram's Garden - historic botanical garden

Bartram's Garden was founded in 1728 by botanist John Bartram and is recognized as the oldest surviving botanic garden in North America. The site includes John Bartram's 18th-century house, historic plantings, and a riverside landscape on the Schuylkill River. Today it operates as a public garden and nonprofit offering educational programs, community events, and conservation initiatives.
