Springs Preserve (site of the original Las Vegas Springs)

Springs Preserve is a cultural and historical campus built on the site of the original Las Vegas Springs, the natural artesian water source around which the settlement of Las Vegas developed. Opened as a public preserve and interpretive center in 2007, the site includes museum exhibits, botanical gardens, and trails that document the springs' role in the city's founding and local desert ecology. The Preserve preserves physical remnants and historical interpretation of the springs and regional water history.
