Lewis Family Tenant Agricultural Complex

The Lewis Family Tenant Agricultural Complex, located in Wyoming, Kent County, Delaware, is a historic site dating back to 1850. This charming complex features a two-story brick dwelling designed in a hall-and-parlor plan, complemented by a frame rear wing. Visitors can also explore two barns, built in the 1920s as replacements for earlier structures. Originally established as a tenant farm by a large landowner, this site offers a glimpse into agricultural history and rural life in the 19th century. It was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
