Washington National Cathedral crypt and lower chapels

The Washington National Cathedral includes a crypt level beneath the main nave that contains chapels and burial sites used for worship and memorials. President Woodrow Wilson is entombed at the cathedral, making his tomb part of the building's subterranean spaces. The crypt and lower chapels are constructed below the primary worship space and are open to visitors and for occasional services.
