David Stott Building (Art Deco skyscraper)

The David Stott Building is a 38-story Art Deco skyscraper completed in 1929 in downtown Detroit and is noted for its slender tower and stepped massing typical of late-1920s commercial high-rise design. The limestone-and-brick façade and vertical emphasis on the elevations exemplify the Art Deco style used in many of Detroit's late-1920s office buildings. It remains a recognized component of Detroit's historic skyline.
