YWCA of Duluth

The YWCA of Duluth, built in 1908, is a historic building in Duluth, Minnesota, designed to support young, single women with various programs including athletics, English classes, and employment assistance. It features a gymnasium, swimming pool, and meeting rooms. Recognized for its social history significance, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2011. After serving the community for a century, the building was sold in 2008 to the American Indian Community Housing Organization, which plans to transform it into apartments and a cultural center while preserving key facilities.
