Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens - national aquatic-plant installation

Kenilworth Park & Aquatic Gardens is an NPS site featuring cultivated ponds of water lilies and lotuses and is the only National Park Service site primarily dedicated to aquatic-plant cultivation and display. The gardens include wooden walkways, boardwalks, and display ponds that present both cultivated and wild aquatic plant communities to visitors each summer when the lotuses and lilies are in bloom. The site also preserves adjacent wetlands and serves as an urban refuge for waterfowl and other wildlife.
